Get started on your path to becoming a California notary public with a convenient one-day notary seminar.

The cost for the live notary seminar is $125.00. If you have not already completed the Live Scan fingerprinting process and had a passport photo taken, they will be available in class for an additional fee. The photo must be attached to your application. You will also need to bring a check or money order in the amount of $40 made payable to the Secretary of State for your application and exam fee. That fee is separate from what you are paying for the training, passport photo, and Live Scan services.
